I am going to throw this article all into one as I saw a few laps of the IRL race and that was it. I am so ashamed. That was one of the biggest racing weekends of the year. All four big series were in action around the globe.

At Spa, Schummi wrapped up his seventh driver title, but for only the second time this season did not win the race. Kimi Raikkonen came home first in the West McLaren. What a long, strange trip it has been for the Woking team this year. From their early struggles with the Mercedes engine to a new chassis and finally to the top of the podium it has been a wild ride.

Probably the biggest news out of Belgium, aside from Schummi, was the trouble Michelin was having. I don’t know if the shards of carbon fibre took down the tires like they did to Ralfie at Indy, but there were an inordinate amount of tire failures.

Junior was able to do the double at Bristol. After winning the Busch race on Friday night, Jr. was able to get the big one on Saturday. From the highlights it looked like he was just glued to the bottom of that track. Way to go Jr. who clinched a spot in the final 10.

Finally at the last race at Nazareth Andretti Green was super dominant. Gentleman Dan was first, TK second and Dario Judd third. To make matters better, Bryan Herta was a very respectable eighth. Unfortunately for the hat boy, his fourth place finish drops him further behind TK for the championship.

The Penske boys managed to take the top two spots in qualifying and looked poised for a good day, but neither had the horsepower of the Honda and Sammy suffered through a miscue in the pits which relegated him to 10^th.
