F1

The reports were true. Scott Dixon's test times were just .004 seconds off of Ralfies. He had gearbox trouble early on and it cost him some laps. Dixon said he thought he could have gone faster.

He will get that shot at Barcelona next month.

This week it is on to Bahrain. The first race in the Middle East. I think the only thing we can be sure of is that Ferrari will be tough to beat.

NASCAR

Kurtis won the race at Bristol yesterday. Jr. was solid most of the day, but the late cautions really crippled his chances. He had fresh tires, but with the track yellow for so long he couldn't take advantage of them.

Tempers as usual were flaring. Kasey Kahne and Jamie McMurray got into a bump and run ending Kahnes day. Then later McMurray and Kennseth were into it and Jamie spun Matt on the cool down lap. Tony Sr. was called to the Oval Office after dissing NASCAR.

All in all, just a typical run at Bristol.
